About Us

William Standifird currently serves as Chief Executive Office at Detechtion, a leading technology firm delivering field asset optimization to oil and gas producers. His more that 25-year international career includes operational, technology and leadership positions in drilling, completions, and production technologies with startup and major oilfield service companies including Schlumberger and Halliburton.

William holds eight patents and has authored more than 30 peer reviewed technical publications. His academic accomplishments include an MBA in Corporate Strategy, a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering. William is a proud veteran of the United States Army's 101st Airborne Division.

As the CTO of Detechtion Technologies, Virgil Haney leads the company’s strategic technology direction and R&D. Prior to joining Detechtion, he co-founded Enbase Energy Technology in 2009, which merged with Detechtion in 2016. An entrepreneur at heart, he also previously founded/co-founded several other startups. Virgil brings over 25 years of executive experience in technology leadership to Detechtion. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and BA in Computer Science from Rice University.

 Frederic Dessureault serves as the Vice President of Services at Detechtion Technologies, where he is responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of the company’s product lines. With over 20 years of industry experience, Frederic has held significant technical and management roles, including positions at Schlumberger and Owens Corning. His expertise encompasses various fields, including oil and gas production and services implementation. Frederic earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal, Canada and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.

Patty Niemi is the Senior Human Resources Manager at Detechtion Technologies, bringing over a decade of HR experience to the role. She specializes in employee relations, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. Before joining Detechtion, Patty held progressive HR leadership positions at Vallourec - North America, where she managed HR operations across multiple locations and supported both domestic and expatriate employees. As a United States Air Force Veteran, Patty’s disciplined approach and positive attitude have been instrumental in fostering a supportive work environment. Her extensive experience in human resources ensures that Detechtion continues to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Patricia Nguyen has served as the Controller at Detechtion Technologies since 2018, where she oversees financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the company’s U.S. and Canadian entities. Patricia has been instrumental in streamlining financial processes, accelerating the month-end close cycle, and implementing policies that improve financial reporting and internal controls. With over a decade of experience in financial management, she brings expertise in compliance, cash flow management, and regulatory oversight. Prior to Detechtion, Patricia held key financial roles at Inhance Technologies and Solarcraft, where she honed her skills in financial consolidation, strategic budgeting, and team leadership.

Tracy Gray is the Strategic Business Director responsible for driving the strategy and development of Detechtion's mobility portfolio of applications which includes enhancing the user experience and creating further operational efficiencies for customer operations.

With over 25 years of leadership in strategy, marketing, and business transformation, Tracy has a proven track record of driving innovation and growth in the oil and gas industry, including various leadership roles at Halliburton, Sodexo, and Shell. Recognized as a Houston Business Journal Women Who Mean Business in Energy honoree, she excels in implementing technology solutions and leading global initiatives. 

Prior to joining Detechtion, Tracy most recently served as Vice President Strategy, Marketing, Product Commercialization at Intelligent Wellhead Systems.  

Shiblee Hashem is the Strategic Business Director, leading our Houston team and driving the international strategy and growth of Detechtion Technologies globally.

Shiblee has over 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Energy Services sectors, specializing in international operations, business development, and strategic growth.

Previously, Shiblee has held various leadership roles at Halliburton and Access ESP LLC. He has successfully managed large teams, high-value contracts, and market expansion in competitive regions. Shiblee is passionate about operational excellence, service quality and safety.

Previous to joining Detechtion, Shiblee most recently served as Vice President of Operations at Intelligent Wellhead Systems.
